1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2: And the earth
was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. 3:
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4: And God saw the
light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5:
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. … 31:
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

1: בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ. 2: וְהָאָרֶץ
הָיְתָה תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ וְחֹשֶׁךְ עַל־פְּנֵי תְהוֹם וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים
מְרַחֶפֶת עַל־פְּנֵי הַמָּיִם. 31: וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים אֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר
עָשָׂה וְהִנֵּה־טוֹב מְאֹד וַיְהִי־עֶרֶב וַיְהִי־בֹקֶר יוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי.

1: आदि में परमेश्वर ने आकाश और पृथ्वी की सृष्टि की। 2: और पृथ्वी बेडौल और
सुनसान पड़ी थी; और गहरे जल के ऊपर अंधियारा था। 3: तब परमेश्वर ने कहा,
उजियाला हो: और उजियाला हो गया। 31: तब परमेश्वर ने अपने बनाए हुए सब कामों
को देखा, और क्या देखा, कि वे बहुत ही अच्छे हैं।
